SEPTEMBER 2026 UPDATE
Why did everything decide to happen on October 1st?
Friends and family are having medical shenanigans, my dog is tripping balls, it’s monsooning outside, I got sick and had to miss my weekly BattleTech night, and I encountered THREE motherfuckers with road rage! (All old-white men in pickup trucks that wanna blame someone else despite THEM being the clearly reckless driver, BECAUSE OF COURSE!)
So for some reason my daughter’s school didn’t want to start till halfway through September, and being a first time parent, yes it was emotional and kinda crazy cuz I still feel like I have no idea how to be a functional parent. But she immediately got excited about school, and we’re slowly falling into a routine. A routine that has FINALLY given me some much needed breathing room.
I finally got some progress done on the Zelda RPG (got some more art assets made and templates for page layouts complete), got all the drawings done for MM chapter 2 done, and I concocted a complete marketing schedule for project Marth which I will be formally unveiling in November. Since I'm appealing to an entirely different demographic of tabletop gamers and nintendo fans, hopefully it wont get completely drowned out by GTA 6. (Please.)
For October I’m gonna keep up the momentum with the Zelda RPG, really try to nail down the details for project Marth, and clamp down on some video projects. With the midterm elections coming up, I wanna do my part by posting a lot of political videos on tiktok to get people to go out and vote.
There’s also another video project that I’m starting that’s involving Overwatch, which is more of a justification of my rekindled addiction to that game now that it’s finally good again. Am I once again putting too much on my plate AGAIN?...
Probably.
But my mother always says I do better when I’m under pressure with a lot of things going on at once, so I’m hoping this will be the thing that will finally get me to lock in and create a routine around productivity.
Will it work? I dunno, we’re about to find out. Right then, lots to do, very little time to do it, cracking on then!
